This year, I am going to try to get myself out there... selling face-to-face at craft fairs and whatnot. I have the summers to really get my behind in gear, making and selling and listing and then making again.

So I am applying for the Creative Collective's Arts and Crafts Fair at Headhouse Square. If you're in the Philly area Saturdays through the summer, you should stop by. Read about the the Headhouse Square Crafts Fair.

I just made an Etsy purchase. I vowed that until I regularly updated MY shop and made a little income there, I was going to take a hiatus from shopping on Etsy. But I HAD to have this:

For anyone who doesn't know, the eponymous Zucchini (yeah, as in Zucchini & Co.) is a beautiful miniature black and tan doxie like this dapper fella. She's more like the crown-wearing sort (spoiled girl!). And, Wednesday is her adoption anniversary!

I am very lucky.

Here just a couple of the reasons:
I have a good job, a job that also gives me off on snowy days.
I have a talented and creative boyfriend whom I love very much.
I have a silly and sleepy kitten whom I also love very much.
I have a great apartment, where you can walk places in the snow.

I don't know whether it's the grayness of winter or what but creatively, I'm not doing so hot these days.

I came across Michelle Ward surfing around... and she's a life coach. I always thought everyone could use a life coach. Particularly when I was having my quarter-life crisis... and now here I am again at 30 thinking this is a very good idea.

Her blog has lots of great info, and she totally seems like someone you'd want to hang out with. I totally recommend Motivation Mondays. So, give her a read and let me know what you come up with.
